1. Southern: Four Friends Kitchen

If you’re looking for a southern twist on your morning feast, look no farther than Four Friends Kitchen. This Stapleton restaurant serves “southern-inspired, contemporary American comfort food for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch.” Four Friends Kitchen offers classic southern dishes, including:

Four Friends Kitchen also has a “Little Britches” menu for kids that includes mini grits and fruit, peanut butter and jelly waffle triangles and creamy house-made mac and cheese. 2. Mexican: Torchy’s

You can pair your meal with a variety of sides including potato salad, famous fries, sweet corn and garlic red-skinned mashed potatoes. 4. Seafood: GB Fish & Chips
Location: 5325 E. Colfax
GB Fish & Chips is one of the best kid-friendly seafood stops in Denver. This Stapleton restaurant offers a variety of seafood, including a variety of fish, oysters, squid and scallops that are battered and fried and served with your choice of side and a drink.
