Feel Good Eating These Wholesome Ingredients

wholesome ingredients

It’s not easy eating wholesome ingredients. With so many pre-packaged options available that are filled with chemicals, GMOs, nitrates and other scary-sounding things you wouldn’t want to eat, let alone feed your family, it’s hard to tell which foods are safe. Luckily, we are as concerned about eating all-natural food as much as you are, which is why we only serve the best to you, our Mici family. When our father gave us permission to share our family recipes with the Denver community, he made us promise that we’d do it right—with natural and fresh ingredients—which is something we practice every single day.

Here are some of the star players in the wholesome ingredients game.

Meatballs

You haven’t fully experienced the best our family has to offer until you try a delectable, juicy meatball with your pasta, on a panini or just by itself. Made from freshly ground beef and pork and hand-rolled each morning in-house, our meatballs are guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest eater.

Pepperoni

A pizza topping staple, we go the extra mile to ensure you’ll feel confident feeding your kids our pepperoni. It has no preservatives, no added nitrates and no artificial colors or flavors—so feel free to get extra!

Dough

The foundation of our hand-tossed pizza, our dough is made with only five ingredients: flour, salt, sugar, water and yeast (because why mess with perfection?). Equally crunchy and chewy, our dough is the perfect partner to fresh mozzarella, tangy tomato sauce and our family recipe sausage (or any other topping of your choosing).

Parmigiano-Reggiano

We import this delicacy directly from Italy to ensure maximum authenticity and flavor. Aged to perfection, our Parmigiano-Reggiano has no fillers or hormones—just the good stuff! There’s nothing better than the sharp, nutty flavor of this cheese, especially as an ingredient in our family recipe Alfredo sauce.

Marinara

The secret to any pasta dish is its sauce. Our family recipe marinara consists of a vegetable base, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh celery and carrots, extra virgin olive oil, spices, salt, sugar, parsley, garlic, basil and crushed red pepper flakes, all simmered to perfection.

Are you craving Mici yet? Don’t worry, it’s only natural (just like our food)!
